THE ROGERS 22 ORIGINAL TOM GREEN SHOW THEME LISTEN
TO THE THEME
.46 : Ah yes, the original theme. Clocking
in at 43 seconds, as compared to whatever the mtv one is. The song
highlights the slackness of Tom Green. A piano, with fake horns, and
a little drumbeat. On an early episode of the series, Tom tells Glenn
he is getting sick of the theme, and maybe its time for a change.
That didnt happen. Countless episodes later, the theme is still basically
the same. MTV has shorted it even further than the Comedy Network
version. But here is is. The classic. Check out the ending where Tom
runs out of ideas and starts mumbling "The Tom Green show". Good times.
Note the lackluster clapping: Hey the show was still in its infancy

THE MOM SONG
LISTEN TO THE SONG
2.26 : The Mom Song. Created to tell Toms mother
that he isnt dumb. Tom tells his mom that he likes to run, his mother
tells him it is dumb to run. Tom then breaks out into a song. Singing
to his mother infront of their house, and showing various clips of Tom
running around woodlands. At the end of the song, Tom, his mother, and
Trevor Cavanagh stand around the Green swimming pool. Mary Jane Green
is talking to the boys, but they are listening. Tom jumps into the rain
and dirt filled swimming pool. "OH GOD" Mom says. Tom gets mad at his
mom because she apparently told Tom that the pool was open. "I think
your the dumb one, cause the pools not even open yet and its May or
something!"

12oz COFFEE CUP
LISTEN TO THE SONG
1.25 : A 12oz coffee cup? Yup Yup. Here is a
song Tom made in his then "new" band. The video for said song takes
place on a rainy ottawa street. Tom has several objects he raps about,
and those objects are on the ground.. he picks each one up when he raps
about them in the song. The breakdown in the middle revolves around
a ceramic lion which is also a prop.. but I dont got it in this picture
know what im saying? Tom does a running man dance move near the end,
a phat dancer and a dope lyrical killa.. in normal terms: a good dancer,
and a fine lyrics writer. Some people mistake this song to be called
"Flowered Rug"; when in fact it is not. There is no flowered rug prop
in the video however. And finally, season 2 of the comedy network shows
had a segment where Tom did a similar song, only infront of the studio
audience. Look for this when I make it in the future..

THE GLENN HUMPLIK
LISTEN
TO THE SONG
1.40 : The Glenn da' Humplik.. the crazy Humplik.
One of my favorite songs of all time.. this song went out to Glenn H.
The video for the song was mostly made up of Glenn footage from the
Rogers 22 days. Glenn sitting in the co-host seat, Glenn running through
a darkened forest in his underwear with Tom's desk (as seen above)..
Glenn drinking a delicious coffee on a street corner.. a "jake the snake"
WWF figure with a small Tom picture covering the face that runs around
the Rogers office space.. and finally the Glenn working at Burger King
footage (hilarious). Once you listen to this, you will be hummin the
tune for hours on end.

THE PHIL
GIROUX LISTEN
TO THE SONG
3.30 : A very early appearance of MC Face, has
young Phil Giroux and Mc Face chillin' in Brooklyn. Face is trying to
tell Phil to take life a little more serious.. and to remember that
he is the F, I, Double L, J-Roo. No im sayin?. Face pleads with Phil
to remember where he comes from.. but all Phil does is laugh... face
demands he chill.. but he doesnt. B-Boy makin noize..Mc Face starts
rappin all about Phil.. about his name.. about being "the 22", about
flying through the skies like "Super Grover".. and also includes a "whatchu
talkin about willis?". Could it be Tom Green really rapping under the
mask? Dont think so.. there is some swearing in this tune, that is looped
out.. only Face is that crass. Kickin it with flava.. like a life sava.
Micheal Jacksons nose is made of frickin plastic.. Glenn Humplik will
play the skipper.. at the end of the song, Face again asks Phil to take
life more serious.. Phil keeps laughing.. looks like he didnt learn
anything; always lolly gaggin.
