Welcome to my little side of the Degrassi universe. For the few of you who don't know what Degrassi Junior High or Degrassi High was: It was a Canadian produced television series portraying the life and problems faced by the students of Degrassi. Degrassi was not like those typical fake American teen shows like: 90210, Saved by the bell, California Dreams, Hang Time (and on a side note, who made up those crappy titles?)
Degrassi was about real life and all the fun that goes along with it. Throughout the years, the series addressed such issues as: suicide, pregnancy, cool high school bands, eating disorders, bullies, pornography, getting beaten by your bearded boyfriend, getting the courage to dump that same bearded boyfriend, hitchhiking, booze, erotic twins, fake ID's, drugs, child abuse, sexism, sexual orientation, adoption, sexual harassment, depression and relationships, and the most important of all : the art of "buying everything in the drugstore so you can blend a package of condoms into the purchase"...
And those were just some of the topics that Degrassi covered....
