Ah our first picture. Well first welcome to this virutal tour of the new Dawn of the Dead 2004 mall. Located in picturesque Thornhill Ontario Canada, the mall is currently called "Thornhill Square Mall". Soon it will be called "_". Its being torn down. I had first read about the location on imdb.com's message board, and one day gathered up my friends Griff (aka Mola Ram) pictured on the left, and Dave (oh.. he's the one on the right) to head to the mall. Being pretty big Dawn of the Dead fans, we were psyched to learn that the mall was within driving distance near Toronto.. When we first arrived at the mall, we noticed that this mall was pretty "dead". For years after visiting sucky empty malls, friends and I would often refer to the mall as being a "dawn of the dead mall". This one although very small, was no different. But enough rambling... After entering near the Dominion store, we saw a very obviously fake wall had been erected along the left hand side of the mall area. We walked behind the wall, and saw that it was a corridor with 2 lighbox style posters. One being this "Champs" sports store ripoff for the fake "Reflex Sports", and the other for "Gaylen Ross" (pictures later in the tour..). We posed for the cameras, it was fun.
